Dominic DeSalvio is a Washington DC based Lighting Designer. A graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a BFA in Theatrical Lighting Design, he has been designing with light since his freshman year in high school, where he designed 14 productions and became the head of the technical theatre department over his four years there. He has worked professionally in Shakespeare festivals, regional theaters, TV news studios, live music venues, and houses of worship across the country. If you’re looking to find him in a crowd (you know, Where’s Waldo style), he’s a hard man to miss because he always wears orange. When he isn’t designing, you can find Dom spending his time reading, knitting, playing piano, or cuddling with his cat.
